Louis XV Bureau Plat In Rosewood Marquetry And Gilt Bronze
About the Item
Magnificent Louis XV flat desk made of rosewood marquetry treated in frieze on an oak frame.
Beautiful ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronze.
Top covered with red leather decorated with friezes gilded with small iron.
Three drawers on the front.
Double-sided (the two sides are strictly identical), the drawers on the visitor side are of course simulated.
Beautiful delicate and elegant curve.
Parisian work from the Louis XV period
Very good condition - restored by our workshop with a natural varnish finish (french polish) , the original leather has been preserved, we have renovated it as much as possible, it however presents defects of use, which for some will be as much a guarantee of authenticity, for the others we can organize the installation of new leather, identical ornaments, by our craftsman sheather with whom we are used to cooperating.
