Louis XV Style Bureau Plat or Writing Desk with Bronze Mounts
About the Item
This fine Louis XV-style desk has a leather top framed by bronze borders. The writing desk is raised on cabriole legs headed by floral and leaf cast mounts that have finely finished walnut veneer on all sides. The desk is fitted with three drawers bordered by bronze leaf scrolls. There is a stamped signature on the side of one drawer. This elegant writing desk is a charming addition to any room.
