Outstanding and unusual 20th century Baker Furniture Company French Louis XV style chinoiserie desk, writing table or bureau plat. This large beautiful desk is paint decorated on all sides in a lovely color of red with beautiful gilt accents resting on lovely sculpted legs and feet. Our desk has one center drawer with two side drawers and a gilt embossed green leather top. Includes 3 keys. The top has stunning painted butterflies and bamboo around the perimeter with Asian scenes on the drawers, sides and front. Can be used floating in a room as it's decorated on all sides. Original Baker plaque inside desk drawer.
