About the Item

Elegant Louis XVI style desk table from the Napoleon III period, made in brass Boulle marquetry style on a solid black dark wood veneer background. Beautiful marquetry with foliage motifs, scrolls and interlacing, all around. A belt drawer across the entire width of the desk. rests on 4 feet, richly decorated with gilded bronzes with falls and dice. Tray covered with a black coating with gold-plated patterns. Rare model Napoleon III Period. Circa 1860 DIMENSIONS / H75 cm x L 130 cm x D 70cm.
