Mid 20th century carved mahogany Swedish desk

About the Item

Mid 20th century carved mahogany swedish desk circa 1947. We are pleased to offer this superb quality desk, which is stamped proving that it was part of the swedish royal family's inventory and a makers date of 1947. Shaped top which matched flame mahogany veneers finished with a double moulded edge.  Single drawer above the knee, flanked either side by a shaped pedestal.  Intricately carved on each corner.  Lefthand pedestal is fitted with a single shelf, righthand side fitted with 4 drawer slides.  All raised on 4 carved lion's paw feet. This piece has been fully restored and re-finished, maintaining it's rich colour. Knee height: 24 1/4" Knee width: 25 1/3" Width of top: 64 1/2" Depth of top: 33 1/4"
