Victorian late 19th century carved oak pedestal desk

About the Item

Victorian late 19th century carved oak pedestal desk circa 1890. Good quality pedestal oak desk, comprising of 3 sections.  Shaped top with original leather insert.  Single drawer above the knee flanked either side by a 2 drawers and carved acanthus leaf details. Supported by 8 turned baluster legs united by h frame stretcher. Surface marks and minor losses to leather writing surface, but is the original.  Surface marks to wood work. Knee height: 25" Knee width: 19 3/4"
