Midcentury Walnut and Maple Italian Desks Writing Table, 1950
About the Item
Beautiful desk in characteristic Italian style of Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi and Osvaldo Borsani. Very particular design. Right size will perfectly fill a corner of your home.
Veneer in walnut wood and maple wood. Top and external part all in walnut wood, while the internal part is all veneered in maple wood. As you can see from the photos, all the edges are threaded with maple fillets. Particular also the shape of the legs that end up higher than the top, with an acute angle. Two central drawers side by side, under the central top.
