Modernist Blackened Oak Desk Attributed to Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, France, 1932

About the Item

Elegant modernist ash and oak desk, one drawer with a bronze knob. Faceted cut-off feet. This model is quite similar to the desks, part of furniture, designed by Ruhlmann for the student rooms of the Paris University in 1932. Stamped AM underneath the top. France 1932.
