Nancy Corzine Neoclassical Laurel Desk Writing Table
About the Item
Opulent writing table or desk in the neoclassical style designed by Nancy Corzine. The Laurel desk features a thick, solid-wood top with an ogee edge. The top is supported by a trestle style base with Greco-Roman reeded apron supported by Greco-Roman style column legs. The legs are conjoined by x-formed stretchers decorated with acanthus leaves and centered by a ball finial. The desk is fronted by two hidden drawers in the apron. The top features a fine woodgrain finish while the trestle has an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age. The lacquer finish has parcel gilt and silver leaf accents. The desk is sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The desk has an imposing profile and is in very good, well-preserved condition. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Very good, well-preserved condition as seen in photos. Intentionally aged patina on trestle base. Age appropriate wear with very minor scuffs and chips which are difficult to see.
