It is a versatile piece of furniture that can seat six to eight people or be used as a working table. The table has an imposing length and a thick rectangular walnut tray handmade in Finland. The tray features irregular edges that are 6 cm thick and rests on four feet connected by ties. The table has brutalist lines typical of Scandinavian design from the 1950s and is entirely removable. Olavi Hänninen's design projects ranged from furniture to trams and church silverware, including total interior designs for many public facilities.
