About the Item
Very rare desk of Åke Hassbjer!
During his career, Åke Hassbjer would create models and environments for several different manufacturers. He has designed several pieces of furniture for, among others, DUX.
Already in the mid-1950s, he designed furniture that was at the forefront of the Swedish furniture industry. From this time, his desk H-55, made by Oscar Edv, is seen here. Ekelund's Carpentry Factory in Virserum. The teak-shod legs are an example of the furniture manufacturer's fine quality.
The table is designed so that you can remove the storage with drawers if you want and just use the desk without it.
