Rare Live Edge Chestnut Long Desk, in the Manner of George Nakashima
About the Item
If I had a place in my own home I would be keeping this desk. The 3 leg set are turn of-the-century industrial Iron. The original paint patina was untouched to offset the perfectly finished wood table top. These legs are heavy iron and are adjustable from 29 to 33 inches. The top is a thick slab of rare Chestnut with 3 sides cut square and a live edge front. The top has a butterfly joint in the style of Nakashima. The top was done in a smooth satin natural finish. All the natural wood splits were filled with a dark resin.
