About the Item
Dramatic campaign style sawhorse desk or work table designed by Samantha Todhunter London, England. The bespoke Matilda desk was custom ordered for a historic Julia Morgan mansion in Presidio Heights San Francisco, CA. The table features a leather wrapped wooden frame embellished with brass tack nail head studs and topped with a thin beveled glass top. The work table top measures 2 inches thick with a height of nearly 33 inches to the top panel. Beautifully finished on all sides for a dramatic presentation. The design is based on a trestle from the 1940s at Isle Sur La Sorque, France. The table can serve as a dining table, desk, or dressing table. The desk is located in our California warehouse ready for shipment and installation.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong solid joinery and construction. The top removes from the bases for transport. Age appropriate wear with very minor scuffs that are difficult to see. The leather top has small indentations in the leather from use.
