About the Item

The mid-century Italian desk designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1960s is an extraordinary example of functional elegance to the point that it is very often attributed to the work of Gio Ponti. This desk features a mix of elegant lines and fine craftsmanship. Made of mahogany, some parts solid wood, others veneered, it offers a large work surface and four convenient drawers. The desk also comes with the rare matching chair, part of the same design line. Both table and chair need restoration work concerning the finish and chair cushion. Both pieces, offered in sets, have no structural damage.
