Superb Louis XV Style Kingwood Veneer and Brass Mounted Bureau Plat Desk

Exemplary early 20th century Louis XV style bureau plat with a top having a black gilt tooled leather insert framed by diagonal kingwood veneer frieze with 3 drawers outlined in scrolling gilt brass and Rococo escutcheons while Rococo foliage decorates the cabriolet legs and sabots. Fake drawers on reverse but equally as beautiful from every angle. Deserves to be floated in a room.
