About the Item

A beautiful example of the functionalist period and tubular steel furniture. This writing desk is made by Heteka Finland and is most probably by the renowned Finnish Architect Pauli Blomstedt who was one of the pioneers of functionalism in Finland and also designed tubular steel furniture for Heteka and Merivaara that he incorporated a lot in his projects. This light version is unlike the common black and steel ones as it features honey toned birch. It is quite compact with a small depth of 40cm which makes it essy to fit in smaller spaces. The table is in good condition and carries the manufacturer's label Heteka.
