About the Item
We are delighted to offer this very large vintage burr yew wood library desk writing table
This is a very grand piece of English country furniture. It has a wonderful timber patina which looks expensive from all angles
It is rather monumental both in size and weight, all panels are made up of solid slabs are hard wood. The desk dismantles (and will be transported) in to four pieces, you have the top which is of course one piece, the central stretcher at the top and then two pedestals. They are all secured in place with L metal brackets
Condition wise this is a use vintage piece, there are some patination marks around the edges of the table from honest age and use, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it
