Vienna Secessionist Bronzed Metal Writing Table or Desk

About the Item

Fantastic bronzed metal petite writing table or desk made in the Vienna Secessionist period of Western Europe early 20th century. The table features a black glass top encased in a bronzed frame. The table is fronted by a single drawer with a wood interior. The frame has a decorative bronze hand-hammered finish on the front drawer and sides. The case is supported by square legs conjoined by a stretcher ending with arched feet. The table has a beautifully aged patina and a dramatic bronzed finish and profile. Solid and strong with a removable glass top for transport. The desk measures 24.5 inches from the floor to the apron for ample leg room.
