About the Item
Vintage Chinoiserie Butterfly & Bird Custom Painted 2 Piece Tall Secretary Desk & Chair. Item features blue and off-white painted finish with intricate bird and floral motifs on the secretary. Both pieces have a Louis XVI inspired form, with the secretary having diamond wire front doors, urn-form finials, two central drawers, long tapered legs and a pull-out writing surface. The chair has similarly tapered legs, nicely carved floral accents and caned back and seat. Listing includes desk and matching chair. Circa Mid 20th Century. Measurements: Desk: 84" H x 40" W x 20.25" D. 29.75" deep with the desk pulled out. The top portion alone measures 55" H x 9.5" D. Chair: 35.25" H x 21" W x 19.25" D x 17" Seat height.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Paint loss and small pokes to caning on the seat and back of chair as pictured. Minor dings and paint loss to secretary. Very good vintage condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Overall very nice.
