Vintage Georgian Revival Flame Mahogany Pedestal Desk 20th Century
About the Item
This is a stunning vintage Georgian Revival pedestal desk, masterfully crafted in flame mahogany, dating from the mid 20th century.
The desk top is of breakfront outline and is fiited with a beautiful inset three part gilt tooled green leather writing surface.
This grand desk has a very solid construction with decorative panelled sides and elegant brass drop handles.
It has three drawers across the frieze above a pedestal on each side. Each pedestal is fitted with a useful pull out slide with an inset gold tooled green leather, the left pedestal has three graduated drawers, the right hand pedestal with a drawer above a double depth filing drawer. The other side has dummy drawers in the frieze.
There is no mistaking its superb quality and elaborate design, which is certain to make it a talking point in your home and add a touch of luxury to your study room.
Complete with working locks and key.
