Vintage Walnut and Oak Leather Top Desk
About the Item
A very stylish and well made vintage walnut and oak leather top desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950-60’s.
It is beautifully designed and is of superb quality, the oak carcass has exposed dovetailed joints at the top edges, and stands on wonderful tapered legs. The drawer fronts are veneered in stunning figured walnut, and have interesting turned solid walnut handles. There is an inset black leather top, and the back of this is also nicely finished, so it can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age.
