William IV Rosewood Writing / Games Table
About the Item
William IV rosewood writing / games table, circa 1830. With a rectangular rosewood top with rounded corners, a beech wood and rosewood inlaid checker board that lifts up to a leather backgammon board, frieze
drawers on left and right sides, supported on either side by two square rosewood supports, a plinth base joined by a stretcher bar and scroll feet. The rosewood has evenly mellowed to a nice light brown color.
