The Writing Desk Reflection beautifully balances two opposites - the solid warmth of wood and the mirror-like coldness of stainless steel.
In creating the Reflections Desk, we had two main purposes in mind:
- to truly reflect the objects around it, enhancing the visual experience within any interior, and
- to pay tribute to the architectural philosophy of the 1970s, characterized by a return to a more functional and stripped-down aesthetic
The interior philosophy of the 1970s emphasized elegance, modernism, and a more human-centered approach. This era brought about the development of innovative building materials like steel and glass, as well as construction methods that embraced the glamour of art deco references.
The Reflections Desk is a timeless piece that effortlessly blends aesthetics, functionality, and the spirit of an influential era in design history.
