Antique Early 20th Century Walnut Dining Table Set with 8 Leather Chairs

A very good quality antique early 20th century dining set comprising of an burr walnut extending pedestal dining circa 1920-1930 and a set of 8 (6 & 2) walnut leather upholstered dining chairs, circa 1910. English circa, early 20th century. This wonderful dining set can sit very comfortably seat 8 and at a stretch 10. With a wonderful color and very well constructed of burr walnut along with very generously sized set of 8 matching walnut dining chairs with the original leather upholstery. The good quality 1930s two leaf burr walnut extending twin pedestal dining table, English, circa 1930. The D-ended shaped top veneered in burr walnut, with two additional leaves, crossbanded with a herringbone inlay and endgrain moulded edge raised on twin pedestals each with turned column and triform bases terminating on pad feet. There are two oak rails which join the table together when extended for one or two leaves with each leaf being held by brass clips. Fully extended to 9ft - 276cm this table could comfortable seat 8-10 people, also the two leaves can be combined or removed to make adjustable lengths. Each end is 92cm in length with each leaf being 46cm. In excellent condition having a good honey color making an attractive dining table. Dimensions: Width 108 1/2 inches - 276cm Height 29 1/2 inches - 75cm Depth 42 1/2 inches - 108cm A superb set of eight walnut cabriole leg dining chairs in the original leather upholstery. English, circa 1910-1920. Generously sized and designed in the George II style, having a raised shaped and waisted back over a stuff-over seat with individual brass stud work, the carvers of slightly larger proportions having scrolled and carved shepherds crook arm. Raised on hipped cabriole front legs with carved shell to the knee and stylized feet and cabriole legs to the rear retaining their original leather upholstery. Offered in excellent condition having had the leather nourished and waxed these well proportioned and comfortable dining chairs will make a fine addition to any dining room. A fine set of dining chairs of good color and a rare model being fully upholstered. Seat height 19 inches - 48cm. Dimensions of carver Width 28 1/4 inches - 71.5cm Height 42 1/2 inches - 108cm Depth 24 1/4 inches - 61.5cm Singles Width 24 3/4 inches - 63cm Height 41 1/2 inches - 105.5cm Depth 23 1/4 inches - 63cm.
