There is no mistaking the style and design of this exquisite antique English solid oak refectory table, in the Jacobean style, Circa 1880 in date and the set of eight vintage English solid oak Spindle Back dining chairs, comprising six chairs and two armchairs. This sturdy table table has been hand crafted from solid oak in the Jacobean style, the table top is 3 cm thick, also note the beautiful carved decoration to the apron and base. With six turned legs united by stretchers this antique table of pegged construction is very stable. It is a medium oak with a striking grain, and good patina. The eight Spindle Back dining chairs have been masterfully hand carved from solid oak, have fabulous colour and patina, and have straw seats typical of English country furniture..
