About the Item

Superb dining room set composed of nine elements: One large buffet, one credenza, one large extendable table and six chairs. French Art Nouveau, Ecole de Nancy, by Gauthier Poinsignon circa 1910. Beautiful quality of manufacture, the nine pieces of furniture are in oak carved on the theme of the vine, bronzes (handles, entrances of locks) of very beautiful foundry, also on the theme of the vine. Set in superb condition. Buffet: Important buffet consisting of two side vitrines / display cabinets with beveled windows, each containing three shelves, a central cupboard containing one shelf and surmounted by two drawers. Above the central part is a marble tray, above which is a shelf, all forming a niche. At the top is a large beveled mirror (in excellent condition) above which runs a wreath carved vine. Measures: Height 208 cm, width 195 cm, depth 50 cm Credenza: -Lower part: in the center one cupboard containing a shelf above is one drawer. On each side are two niches. Marble top (discreet crack, see photos). -Upper part: One beveled mirror framed by two shelves, all topped by a wreath carved vine. Measures: Height 170 cm, width 118 cm, depth 48 cm Table: Large table with 6 feet. Sculpted feet. Extensible. Only one extension present, possibility to install more. Measures: Height 76 cm, depth 118 cm, width 134 cm (closed) 185 cm (with extension) 285 cm (fully open) Chairs: Six chairs. Seat in original croco leather, in good condition. Carved folder. Measures: Height 98 cm, width 45 cm, depth 40 cm.
