  • Thomasville Embassy Wood Inlay Asian Modern Campaign Style Brass Accent Credenza
By Thomasville, Drexel, Dorothy Draper, Henredon
    Located in Chattanooga, TN
Dorothy Draper style campaign credenza made by esteemed US furniture maker Thomasville circa 1970s. Old growth flaxen flared grain fruitwood (most likely pecan) from top to bottom are the hallmarks of the Embassy line. Black lacquer accents and brass pull hardware tie together British traditional and Eastern design. The door facades exhibit a diamond pattern wood inlay with contrasting color tones, presented tastefully to demonstrate a delicate ornate sensibility. Two large Interior cabinet spaces offer heaps of open storage with a single stationary shelf in each bay. No composite or MDF anywhere on this campaign credenza. Thomasville used a combination of solid hardwood interiors, solid fruitwood and veneers. We purchased this from the original owners out of time-capsule estate and nearly everything in the home was from the Thomasville Embassy...

  • Renzo Rutili for John Stuart 3-Piece Checker Parquet Campaign Style Credenza
By John Stuart Inc., Johnson Furniture Company, Renzo Rutili
    Located in Chattanooga, TN
Stately. No other word best represents this exceptional Renzo Rutili credenza / dresser. The fusion of British Colonial, Far East, Regency and Modern create a distinctive harmony, rarely found in such tasteful proportions. Versatility abound. Imagine how elegant this would look in a hall entry. Both chests can be arranged in opposite positions (facing either direction) atop the solid walnut bench. Finished on both sides, these cabinets proudly showcase a stacked bay of brass accented regal drawers. Contrasting yet complimentary in their checkered parquet assemblage of various exotic wood veneers. The pulls lock in patinated brass plates that have acquired a hammered appearance over the decades. No better place to store your treasures of the Orient. Every inch was delicately restored by our in-house cabinet shop. We use a light touch to remove imperfections, without taking away any charm or patina. We restore with the intentions of maintaining authenticity and character. Our pieces look well-preserved, not "refinished". Minor imperfections may remain noticeable up-close, but the overall presentation will be estimable. We encourage you to examine our photos closely and please reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Manufactured by Johnson Furniture for John Stuart Inc. of New York and designed by Renzo Rutili. Dimensions: Overall: 67.75” Long x 20” Deep x 25.25” High Tall Chest: 33” Wide x 18.25” High Short Chest...

  • Salterini Style Art Deco / Modern Gold Painted Gilt Metal Glass Top Dinette Set
    By John Salterini, Russell Woodard
    Located in Chattanooga, TN
Art Deco, Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern design elements have combined to create what is arguably the most sublime patio dinette set ever. Gilt gold and black glam of this caliber transcends trends. Steeped in mystery, we have no idea who designed this set or what country it originated from. At first glance, it looks Italian and perhaps inspired by or custom made by Salterini, circa 1950s but without any markings it's only a guess. Don't let the dainty elegance fool you. These sturdy welded metal chairs are heavy and capable of supporting even the most Rubenesque of house guests...
