Round dining table, white marble, Italy, 1960s This wonderful combination of wooden dining chairs around a round marble table forms a striking combination of colors and textures. The pedestal table stands on a cylindric base and a round feet. With the chamfered edges the design gets a strong elegant appearance. Due to the bright shade of the marble with its subtle grey grains, a sculptural expression is evoked. Set of six dining chairs, pine, paper cord, Sweden, 1960s This set of Swedish armchairs in solid pine depicts a beautiful contrast to the marble table. The frame in solid pine wood has strong lines. With the legs in form of two slats, the design has an unusual look. The angled lines are joined by a curved backrest that allows the sitter to take a seat on the paper cord webbing and relax.
