1940s Laminated Wood Dining Table Six Chairs Seat Skai Covered Italian Design
About the Item
Dining table in laminated wood with wooden and satin finish black metal legs with brass feet adjustable in height, complete with six chairs in plywood and bent, with seat covered with skai, dated back to the end of the forties, that resemble the design of Vittorio Nobili and Carlo Ratti, and coming from Lissone Milan.
These pieces of furniture are entrusted to us for sale by a lady named Franca, today 89 years old, belonging to an ancient family from Piedmont, who lives in the Ticino valley about 40 km far from Milan. They were bought for her wedding in 1948.
Not being able to travel the world, she would like at least that her furniture do it; she has enjoyed their companionship during a peaceful and happy marriage and she would like that now they make another family happy.
Measures: Table: cm 160 x 80 - inches 62.99 x 31.49.
Chairs: height cm 81 - inches 31.88, width cm 52 - inches 20.47, width of seat cm 44.5 - inches 17.51, depth cm 38 - inches 14.96.
Good condition, they need some restorations, and some chairs need a new seat.
