Condition: Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, is structurally very sound and sturdy, with no loose joints. The 17th century base has some natural aged splits, some historic old worm holes, now treated by way of precaution, but does not affect the sturdiness or strength of the table. A couple of small old repairs to the inside top of two legs. The end friezes are are replacements. The 18th century top has a partial natural aged seperation between the planks, the corners have been rounded, and recently it has been restained. The top and the base are attached by hidden metal brackets. These could very simply be removed, but secure top to base admirably. Overall, a very well presented table, strong and robust. Suitable for the rigours of modern life. Serviced in our workshop, sensitively cleaned, waxed and now very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
