19th Century French Cherry Wood Dining Table with Parquetry Top
About the Item
A beautiful French country house table from the 2nd half of the 19th century. Made from solid cherry wood.
Consisting of 4 tapered square legs, frame with drawer, and the table top protruding all around with a French herringbone pattern parquetry mirrored in the centre.
Dimensions
Height: 80 cm / 31.49 inch.
Width: 240 cm / 94.48 inch.
Depth: 105 cm / 41.33 inch.
Height from the bottom to the frame (knee height): 63 cm / 24.8 inch.
Good sturdy condition with signs of older restoration as well as various minor signs of use including light scratches and discolouration due to age. The surface was apparently varnished a few years ago to make it harmless usable for everyday.
