About the Item

Entertain in style around this large antique fruitwood dining table. Crafted in France circa 1890, and built of solid walnut, the table features a thick rectangular top with hand-carved beveled edges, supported by two bold baluster-form pedestal legs connected by a sturdy cross stretcher, wedged mortise and tenon joinery. The beautifully turned legs sit atop wide, deeply carved plinth bases that ensure exceptional stability and presence.
