19th Century Mahogany Dining Room Table, 177 inches Long

About the Item

19th Century Mahogany Dining Table, 173 inches Long Nederland, 1830-1835 Spectacular dining table supported by a mahogany veneered large center pedestal. This round form table with diameter 140cm, extends to accept six leaves (each 50 cm). The table extends and four feet fold down and latch into place to support the extra length. The top of the table is made of solid mahogany wood with beautiful grain. Leaves of the table are mahogany veneered. Condition: The table has been restored. The surface of the tops are finished with varnish and polished to a high gloss. The pedestal and bands are finished with hand polished shellack. The table is ready to use. Dimensions: High: 79 cm , High to the band:68 cm Diameter: 140 cm / + 6 x 50 cm (any number of leaves can be used)
