Art Deco table by J. Halabala from 1940s.
Art Deco table by the famous Czech designer J. Halabala, 1940. Jindrich Halabala, (a Czech designer ranked among the most outstanding creators of the modern period. The peak of his career fell on the 1930s and 1940s when he worked for a reputable UP Manufacturing Company in Brno. There he created his most popular furniture models, including the famous H-269 armchair, the H-214 chair and the H-259 coffee table, which became the classics of Czech Modernism).
The piece of furniture was made of walnut tree.
The table was given the manual renovation, cleaned to bare wood and finished with varnish as in the original.
