About the Item

A stunning modern late 20th century stainless steel and smoked glass dining table. Made by Brueton New York in 1988*, the clean-lined American modernist table with a smoked rectangular glass top raised on a polished stainless steel base with straight legs. Comfortably seats eight. The P Series high table (attrib) represents a high quality metal reinterpretation of the classic Parsons table. Impeccably crafted into a seamless unit, with stunning aesthetics and ideal proportions. Provenance / Acquisition: Property from an internationally recognized Raleigh, North Carolina interior designer. *The table made by Brueton New York in 1988 oral provenance. Acquired from highly reputable auction house Black Rock Galleries, based out of Greenwich, Connecticut. Raleigh NC Double Designer Downsize Auction catalog, 1009 Classic Rd Apex NC 27539. Dimensions: (approx) 30" High, 84" Long, 34" Deep Great original vintage condition with expected signs of use including minor light scratching to glass top, scuffs, scratches and light pitting to steel, all typical wear consistent with age and use.
