Lovely dining room set consisting of a Jacob Kielland-Brandt dining table in pine and dining chairs upholstered in sheepskin Jacob Kielland-Brandt, dining table, solid pine, Denmark, 1960s. This remarkable table holds a natural expression due to the pine’s properties featuring grains and knots. The table has an open look and is structurally supported by means of a horizontal beam. In the highly refined wooden joints, you can see the work of an expert, a designer with high level of craftsmanship and a perfect eye for nuances. The design is based on subtle and modest lines, resulting in a simplistic furniture piece that is typical for Mid-century Danish furniture design. Dining Chairs in Pine and Sheepskin TON, set of six dining chairs, pine, reupholstered in sheepskin, Czech Republic, 1950s TON was founded after World War Two in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet.
