Dining Table in Caviuna Hardwood & Glass by Forma Brazil, 1960s

About the Item

The frame of the dining table is made with caviuna hardwood and features a glass table top. The legs of the table are angled and have a very slim profile. In addition, the design is super simplistic and looks amazing at the same time. This dining table would look perfect in any styled home interior. Carlo Hauner (1927-1997) and Martin Eisler (1913-1977) were the primary designers for the iconic Brazilian furniture company Forma. Hauner’s and Eisler’s designs are characterized by the use of Brazilian woods, thin tubular frames, and range from furniture, to ceramics and textiles. Their narrative spans through four countries (Italy, Austria, Brazil, and Argentina) and several decades, and their exceptional works are already highly sought-after examples of the vibrant modern design movement in Latin America.
