The dining-table 'Bangles Wood' is the smaller version of the iconic sculptural table 'Bangles' chosen by Ridley Scott for his film 'HOUSE OF GUCCI' starring Al Pacino, Lady Gaga, Adam Driver...
'Bangles Wood' has an extra-clear crystal glass top through which you can admire the structure in solid oak wood. The table base is made up of rings that intersect creating a dynamic sculpture which appears differently from every angle of observation. The surface of the wood is finely sanded and treated with a sophisticated protection oil enhancing the beautiful and unique pattern of the oak wood.
The table can be customized by using different wood essences or lacquered in a color of your choice with a glossy or matt finish.
Furthermore it is possible to select the desired table length from a minimum of 220 cm (86.6") to a maximum of 270 cm (106.3").
In the photographs you can see the 'Bangles Wood' table combined with our rug 'Shadow', designed specifically for this table by Atelier Barberini & Gunnell. The rug simulates the shadow of the table structure and is made of 100% New Zealand wool and pure silk, handknotted in India with 150,000 knots/sqm. Next to the table we have placed our sculptural dining-chairs, also by Atelier Barberini & Gunnell. The chairs have an upholstering in finest Nubuck leather and decorative almond-shaped elements between each cushion made from stainless steel, either mirror polished or coated with 24 Kt gold.
Dining table dimension: L 220-270 x W 120 x H 74 cm. Dimensions are customizable.
Each table is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved), 100% handmade in Italy and comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.
The artworks by Barberini & Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art and Design New York, Art Miami.

We take care of the entire customs procedure and paperwork. On request we organize a white glove delivery and installation of the artwork inside of the property of the client. All shipments are ALL-RISK insured.
We carefully pack all artworks in strong wooden crates to ensure safe transport. This service is done directly in our atelier and is complimentary. All of our artworks travel with a shock watch system in order to monitorate rough handling by shippers and movers.

Atelier Barberini & Gunnell was founded in 2009 by the architects Francesco Barberini and Nina A. Gunnell, as the result of a passion followed for a long period of time, creating one-off pieces and collectible design in limited editions; artworks far from the industrial reality. The cultural mix between the two artists with Italian, English and Austrian backgrounds results in unique architectural and interior design projects. From several private clients and collectors emerges the request for the conception and realization of ‘living art’, customized furniture for their special homes.
