About

An impressive-looking dining table designed in 1960 by the great female Danish designer Grete Jalk, and made in Denmark by Poul Jeppesen. The frame and legs are made of solid Brazil rosewood, with a top of rosewood and very durable, temperature-resistant black laminate. The use of luxurious rosewood to outline the borders of each section of the top cleverly prevents the leaves from looking like they are trying to hide their seams, turning the seams instead into a deliberate formal element.

A highly versatile design, the table without leaves is perfectly circular, with a 53.25 inch diameter (each of the two leaves adds 21.5 inches to the overall length).
