Duncan Phyfe Style Twin Pedestal Dining Table with Faux Marble Hand Painted Top

About the Item

An elegant twin pedestal Duncan Phyfe/Sheraton style dining table, the pedestals in mahogany with original brass castors, the 'D' shaped top expertly painted in a faux green veined marble (sea green). There is a removeable centre leaf (two feet wide) that blends in beautifully with the two outer ends of the table which when inserted renders the dining table eight feet long, The table is likely American (circa 1950?) and the faux marbleing done later. The table is exceptionally unique and colourful.
