END OF THE 19th CENTURY OVAL TABLE IN MAPLE

About the Item

Splendid oval table in maple wood with gilt bronze finishes. The medallion finishes on the lower band depict characters from ancient iconography, while the leaf shoes on the four truncated pyramid legs add a touch of elegance. The table can be extended by approximately 150cm, with new raw extensions included. Furthermore, it extends with two movable legs fixed under the top to increase its stability. This piece of furniture is perfect for furnishing a dining room or living room with taste and refinement. Dating back to the end of the 19th century, it bears the signature of the cabinetmaker, that is, the Mercier Frères company of Paris, visible under the top.
