About the Item

English William & Mary Period early 18th Century Walnut Double Gateleg Table, of refined design and beautiful warm color, made of walnut (not the usual oak) which gives it a more sophisticated look. The top consisting of three pieces, a narrow middle part and two hinged drop leaves, that are supported by the nicely turned double gatelegs ending in "Spanish" feet, swinging out on either side. There are two drawers, one at each of the narrow ends.
