Elegant Teak & Oak "Maria" table attributed to Bruno Mathsson featuring the iconic ingenious modular drop leap design that offers flexibility and sculptural form.Crafted with beautifully grained teak and supported by clean minimal oak legs (base) Overall nice original condition,, minor veneer loss and minor dark spot to table. (see photos) I can have professionally restored at buyers request ?The table transitions seamlessly from a compact console to a generous dining surface. A refined example of Scandinavian functionalism, combining lightness, versatility, and timeless modernist form.

This gorgeous dining table has all the style elements of Classic Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian design. It is made of teak and oakwood and looks very sleek, elegant and very well proportioned.
Apart from being a feast for the eye this table is also very practical. It is extendable on both ends, enlarging the top from 133 cm (55 inch) to 237 cm (93 inch) making it large enough to seat 8 persons.
The system is very well engineered. When folded away there is visually no trace of the two extendable parts.
