About the Item

Period: 1940-1949 Condition: Fully restored Materials: Beech and oak This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originates from France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods. Pieces are typically lacquered to give off a dazzling gloss. These eloquently crafted pieces will add visual performance and posh to any interior. Designed by Jindrich Halabala, a renowned designer credited with ushering in the mass market production of furniture in his native Czechoslovakia. Made by UP Zavody, a well-known Czechoslovakian furniture manufacturer and dealer based in Brno. It has been fully restored and re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
