About the Item
This rectangular dining table belongs to the STELLA collection designed by Christophe Lecomte in Vendée, France. Graduated from the famous BOULLE design school in Paris, Christophe navigates very easily between emotion and function and follows 2 permanent benchmarks: elegance and ergonomics.
With STELLA, Christophe decides on a range that can use the most beautiful classic French essences as a fine and slightly naturally pink cherry and a harder, more resistant and straight oak wood.
The proposed lines for STELLA evoke a relationship between the past and the present. Structures first seduce with their contemporary straight, rectangular or square shapes, then the whole is softened with the addition of curves.
This dining table is fully assembled in our workshop.
The length of the unfolded table with the 2 extensions is 280 cm / 110".
The 2 extensions of 50 cm / 19.7" each are folded under the top.
To access the extensions, release the brake under the top, then pull the feet.
The motion is effortless thanks to the small wheels placed under the feet.
The table accommodates comfortly 6 guests when it is folded and 10 with the 2 extensions.
The length of the unfolded table with the 2 extensions is 280 cm / 110".
The feet and top ends are in solid French oak, the top panel and extensions are made of veneer oak.
The finish is a bleached natural oak with a "kenya" brown-grey lacquer on the top frame and the outsides of the feet.
You can also choose an other finish, we do bespoke furniture.
GONTIER
is a cabinetmaker's furniture brand established since 1920 in Mayenne.
It now belongs to the company MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANÇAIS.
The manufacture of each piece of furniture remains artisanal, 100% French and of very high quality.
The solid wood comes from sustainably managed French forests.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.

The straight lines protect and frame the light curved design of the drawers and doors.
2 Wooden extensions of 50 cm / 19.7" each are folded under the tray.
To access the extensions, first release the brake under the top and pull the feet aside.
To help doing this motion without effort, small rolls are installed under the 2 feet with the extensions.
This table accomodates confortly 6 guests and 10 with the 2 unfolded extensions.
The proposed finish is a natural oak with a home-developped elefant-grey stain for the frame and top ends.
