Rare "Chelsea" table by Vittorio Introini for Saporiti, Italy, 1960. The built-in extension is ideal for four or six guests. Italian architect Vittorio Introini (1935-) became famous for his designs produced by Italian companies such as Saporiti, Cassina and Poltronova.
Introini also worked on interior architecture projects, designing commercial spaces for prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Fiat and Alitalia. He also taught industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano.
The table has a closed diameter of 47.24 inches and can seat 6 people, when open it extends to 68.9 inches
