Fine Oval Parquetry Mahogany Dining Table With 2 Leaves
About the Item
A handsome Geometric patterned top extension table with great color and the capability to double its size when needed. The top in book matched quadrants with wide banding. Raised on square tapering legs on the plain apron. With two book matched leaves and underneath mechanisms for support. The table has had extensive revision to the operating mechanism and lock replacements to the leaves done at a later time as seen in the photos.

Each leaf 31 1/2" W
Condition; Please see the detail photos. There are various signs of age and wear including scratches to the top and some rough surfaces and checking to the banding and some slight veneer loss to the table. In addition the leaves are somewhat darker than the table top due to sunning. Despite the aforementioned the table retains a handsome and solid presentation. Please review the photos as they are part of the condition report.
