French 60-Year Old Elmwood Dining Table or Desk with Modern Steel Base
About the Item
The Elmwood top was imported from France and is reportedly about 60-years old and we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase several slabs. The Mid-Century Modern steel base, is formed locally in Chicago for us and could be painted, or cold bronze-plated? The base structures are extremely heavy and strong as a rock. Since we have several slabs of the burl Elmwood they will vary a little and the picture shown is typical of what you can expect to receive, however there could be some minor variations in the grain.
