About the Item
This piece belongs to our DIRECTOIRE collection, which takes up the Directoire style, very famous at the end of the 18th century in France.
It is remarkable for its straight, classic and timeless lines, sometimes enhanced with grooves or diamonds on the front or feet.
This table is a handcrafted reproduction modernized with 1 integrated leaf under the top.
The extension is of 40 cm / 15.75" wide.
The top separates itself in the middle by pulling one side apart for an easy and synchronized opening of the extensions.
The height under the skirt is 64 cm / 25.2"
The finish is made of a blond cherry stain for the top and the extension + 3 layers of white-cream lacquer for the skirt and the feet + a mole grey lacquer for the diamonds on the the feet with a satin varnish.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
