French Farm Table 18th Century Style Hand-Made by Old Plank Any Dimension, Color
About the Item
Authentic reproduction of an 18th century French Dining Table that we produce in house at Old Plank here in Chicago. The wood for the top is reclaimed Oak, although other woods are available. The wood is naturally air dried to prevent cracking and help to eliminate as much shrinkage as possible. The bases are fabricated from reclaimed oak barn beams and cut from solid chunks, thus eliminating the need to glue up thinner boards. The French style Dining Table top boards are exceptionally wide and each is splined together for extra strength. Virtually any length, width and finish is possible. We have several different styles available and all are listed on this website. Delivery is currently running 8-10 weeks, but can change in a moment's notice since we are a small shop and do everything by hand, the old fashion way.
